Once within the park, we visit Nourlangie Rock, an ancient Aboriginal shelter, where we will explore the area and the rock art. Your guide will lead you on aninterpretive walk around the site.

We visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre for an insight into the cultural history of the park and late this afternoon, board the sunset Yellow Waters billabong cruise, with it’s prolific birdlife and wonderful variety of plants. Estuarine crocodiles are often spotted here.

After the cruise, we make our way to our overnight accommodation in Jabiru and enjoy a BBQ dinner.

Start this morning with a spectacular 1 hour scenic flight over Kakadu including Twin and Jim Jim Falls. The falls are at their best during the wet season but are inaccessible by road so you can only see them from the air.

There are a couple of longer walks and a shorter walk, all leading to lovely waterfalls, including Motorcar falls and Boulder Creek.

Motorcar Falls is a 4 km walk each way and is a 25m waterfall dropping down into a beautiful rock plunge pool. Boulder Creek is accessed by a short 2km rocky walk, which leads to some  rockpools with a small waterfall.
