Tour Meals
The food on a Sacred Earth Safari is great -
varied and plentiful meals plentiful , using good quality ingrediants and offering as many fresh vegetables as possible, with consideration to the Outback conditions, especially on our Kimberley camping tours. Vegetarians and other dietary requirements (gluten free, vegan etc.) are catered for but you need to let us know when you
book so we can make sure you’re
well looked after.
We also understand that after the day’s activities
you’ll be hungry so our menus are designed so that you don’t
have to wait ages to eat!
Your guide will prepare and cook all the meals
for you while on tour, though helping out with the washing up is always appreciated!
A typical day on tour starts with fresh juice,
a selection of teas and coffee (instant or filter - we have individual
filter coffee cups), cereals, fruit, toast and a variety of jams and spreads. We also have
pancakes or bacon and eggs some mornings.
Lunches are picnic style with a selection
of salad and deli items, cold meats, cheeses, and bread, rolls or mountain
bread.
Pre- dinner nibbles are often served while dinner is
being prepared andthese include camembert cheese, olives, dips
and chips and a selection of crackers.
Dinner menus include T- bone steaks, fresh barramundi, fillet steak, casseroles, stir fries, taco’s, pasta or a camp oven roast and we include a variety of red and white meat as well as fish to cater for all tastes.
We carry fruit in the vehicle and iced water is always available.
