Earth Safari’s conduct Kakadu tours and Kimberley safaris
and are
locally owned and operated.
Sacred Earth Safaris is proud to be an Australian Accredited Tourism Business and we hold a variety of licenses, accreditations and permits which enable us to operate tours throughout the NT and Kimberley regions. We are also holdersof a special access permit to lead tours into the restricted area of Jarrangbarnmi (Koolpin Gorge) in Kakadu National Park.
Danielle and David lead a team of experienced, professional
guides, dedicated to looking after you and giving you an interesting,
memorable and enjoyable holiday in Australias North. Sacred Earth
Safaris guides have passed the Kakadu For Knowledge Tour Guides
course and hold current first aid certificates. They are experienced
4WD enthusiasts with a passion for nature, culture and the areas
we visit and enjoy sharing this passion and enthusiasm with our
clients. Guides are hand picked and trained on all aspects of the
Top End and Kimberley, though each guide comes from a different
background and has their own experiences and personalities to make
each tour unique.
While Danielle mainly works behind the scenes
(though she does lead some of our Top End tours), David is one of
your tour leaders and trains our other guides. A Territorian, with
over 25 years of guiding experience, he grew up on cattle stations
and Aboriginal communities and gained
a respect and understanding of the land and culture from an early
age. He was one of the first to lead Kakadu tours, had 4 years guiding
in Central Australia and has been taking Kimberley safaris to the
region for over 18 years, making him one of the most experienced
guides in Northern Australia.
Many years of leading our guided Kimberley
tours has also allowed him to form a special relationship with the
remote community of Kalumburu, who
allow us to stay on their land, have a local Aboriginal guide show
us around and conduct Aboriginal guided tours (private tours only).

With extensive knowledge of Aboriginal
rock art and culture, bush tucker, flora, fauna, natural history
and geology , David has assisted in the making of several documentary
programs, including “The World Around Us” on such networks
as CNN andthe BBC. He has also been an advisor for several books
on the Top End.
David is available for specialist Aboriginal rock art tours on a private charter basis, focussing on the art through Northern Australia, where there are a variety of styles and techniques. Please contact us for further details.
We take pride in every aspect of our Kakadu
safaris and Kimberley tours and that’s what makes Sacred Earth
Safari’s different- the personalised service, attention to
detail and commitment to giving you the experience that YOU want!
We love what we do and are told it shows- let us show you.
